Venues
Ancient Peaks Barn
This enclosed centerpiece building can accommodate up to 200 guests for receptions, dinners, meetings and more. Features include sliding doors, fixed heaters and a corner bar.
The Cobbled Patio adjacent to the barn extends our possibilities for outdoor events. Half is covered and half is open.
Oaks Veranda
Our legendary Oaks Veranda is a magical place for you to say "I DO!" The raw beauty of the extraordinary views of the rolling vineyards and legendary oak trees are the perfect backdrop of your wedding or reception.
Located just outside the doors of our Ancient Peaks Barn, this space allows for easy flow from inside to outside for guests.
Historic SMR Barn
Also known as the “Asistencia,” this historic building is regarded as the first stone-and-mortar structure built in California. Its interior features an antique timber ceiling, iron chandeliers and space for up to 250 guests.
The “Asistencia” served as a farmhouse, granary, chapel and lodging quarters during the Mission Period. Today, the original building is covered by a protective barn, but the impressive stone walls still stand.
Estrada Garden
A beautiful grassy area ideal for outdoor ceremonies and receptions located just steps from the SMR Barn.
Named Estrada Gardens in honor of Joaquin Estrada, a colorful Ranchero who was granted the property in 1841. He was known for hosting grand fiestas and rodeos and for his gracious hospitality that set the tone for generations to come at Santa Margarita Ranch.
